The name ('Kitsune') originates from the romanized Japanese word for a Fox. Why the game does not directly contain foxes, it contains themes, ideas, and concepts surrounding foxes like shrines (from Kitsune folklore), tree stumps, fences, etc.
Gameplay
Towers
Tower 1: Folklore
The easiest and first tower, themed around the Japanese Kitsune folklore, contains 100 stages themed white, red, and gold. The tower contains props like inari shrines, coins, wisps, etc.
Tower 2: Red Fox
Tower 2 is themed after the red fox (vulpes vulpes), the most common and most expected fox species. As foxes are wild creatures, the tower's design implements grass, logs, fences, and other aspects in an orange and black tower.
Tower 3: Arctic Fox
The third tower (3) represents the Arctic Fox. The tower contains an abundance of ice and slippery surfaces to represent the cold winter-like feel associated with arctic foxes.
Tower 4: Fennec Fox
The fourth (4) and currently last tower, introduced in an update event on the 4th of January, 2026, is themed around the small and energetic Fennec Fox. The tower represents the color and theme of the desert, with cacti and dry themes. No ice or slippery surfaces are used in this tower and it contains a lot of fast and dynamic moving parts to match the energy of the fennec.
