What We Collect

When you visit ObbyWiki.com, the site automatically collects and stores basic information that your browser sends, including:

When you edit or create pages:

If you are logged in (mandatory as of the 5th of April, 2025), your username is publicly logged instead

When you use a third-party OAuth provider (such as Google, Discord, or Roblox):

Your username and user ID
Metadata such as your email and profile picture (this is not collected from Roblox)

The above data is stored for as long as your Obby Wiki account is linked to these services. You can unlink your external account connections at any time through the users preferences pages. No data from any service will be shared unless you do so yourself (i.e., using a suggested username).

For more details on what is retrieved and stored precisely:

Google: user ID, username, email address, profile picture
Discord: user ID, username, email address
Roblox: user ID, username

This information is used solely to create and maintain your Obby Wiki account and prevent duplicate account creation or abuse. This information may be used to display your username and profile picture where applicable in the future, such as attribution for your edits, or a link to your public profile(s). Technical data such as access tokens issued during sign-in are used only to verify your identity and are not stored after login/sign-up completes.

Please note that you must be 13 years or older of age to sign up and use the Obby Wiki with an account.
